The Three Tutorials

This tutorial was the enhance lighting with dodge and burn. To edit the first step was to turn the image black and white, and create a new blank layer above the main image. Secondly you had to turn the blank image into a plain grey tone. Thirdly I changed the layer's blend mode to Overlay to reveal the main image. After word I used the burn tool and darkened the shadows around the main subjects in the image. Then I used the dodge tool and painted over the highlights in the image with a greysih haze. After that I used the burn tool again and darkened more of the shadows. I then boosted the shadows and highlights to finish it off.

This tutorial was the color replacement. To start I selected the main subject, mine being the bananas, with the path tool. Since my photo was a lot more simple then the tutorial's photo I used the paint bucket took to replace the natural color of the bananas with purple.

This tutorial is pop art. First I cropped my image into a square and then selected the water polo ball with the magic wand tool. Then I copied it and pasted it into a new layer. After this I used the paint bucket tool and filled the empty space with a fun color. I then doubled the original image and filled it with three copies of the edited image. I then repeated filling each of the copied images with a different color background. Finally I finished by adjusting the hue on each image.
